Nagrik Bhawan

In the year 2011-12, the then RWA Executive Committee decided to construct a building in the colony for organizing social, religious and welfare events, solely for the benefit of the residents and their families. This building is known as ‘Nagrik Bhawan’. While the land for the building was allotted by the Builder of the Colony (M/s Uppal Housing Pvt. Ltd), cost of construction was met by generous donations received from the residents and well-wishers.

A number of social, cultural and religious events take place in the Nagrik Bhawan. With prior approval of the RWA and on payment of a nominal fee, residents can use the Nagrik Bhawan for conducting their private functions such as birthdays, parties etc.

Nagrik Bhawan also houses a small library.

During COVID 19 pandemic, the Nagrik Bhawan was used for administering vaccinations, RTPCR tests, medical camps etc. A part of the building was also converted into COWID ward.

Currently, under an agreement with Rotary Club Gurugram, the premises is used for empowering the under privileged maids of the colony by conducting tailoring classes.

Regular yoga classes, dance classes etc. are conducted in the Nagrik Bhawan for the benefit of the residents.
